  1. Honest opinion? You're gonna need lots more than 2.5 weeks for this. Bear with me now:

for the 16 stops you've mentioned, most of them are more than just a day apart. If you only spend a single day at each spot, you're still already over 2 weeks. That leaves you another 4 days of driving room to put somewhere in between all that.

A straight drive from here to Winnipeg is 1 day an 8 hours, that's 32 hours straight driving, and that's If you drive a straight line.

Unless you guys plan to have your car in constant motion with rotating drivers, you aren't going to be able to make it. And if you do, you'll be exhausted. It wont be any fun, trust me. I tried it before. You either have to extend your trip by at the very least another week, or cut out that big loop down south.

I suggest waiting on the loop south, the Grand Canyon is close enough to do on a 4 day weekend, but the farther points you want to see are way more difficult to get to in a short time period. Go see those. Skip the closer ones.

    Raining on your parade,
    vicki

  3. Don't listen to the nay-sayers, Bryce! They know only to say "nay". Your friendly neighborhood comic clerk says:"Yay!" Do it! I'll be keeping tabs on you guys as you go! Best of luck!
